Ubud Writers and Readers Festival. [October]
The Ubud Writers & Readers Festival has been established under the auspices of the Saraswati Foundation for the Arts. The Saraswati Foundation for the Arts sees Ubud becoming one of the most important cultural and artistic centers in Indonesia by fostering the development of young Indonesians through educational programs and literature.We see Indonesia's economic growth increasing through our learning programs that will enhance cross-cultural understanding and create continuing creative partnerships in Indonesia, South-East Asia and the West.
