High Sierra Music has been producing world-class music festivals since 1991. An independent production company based in Berkeley, CA, the organization was founded with the first High Sierra Music Festival, its cornerstone event that takes place every July 4th weekend in Northern California, and remains committed to its grassroots beginnings by drawing support from its loyal community of patrons, staff, volunteers and non-corporate sponsors.

Over one million visitors from throughout the world have attended the Sausalito Art Festival since its inaugural Event in 1952. Sausalito has been the focal point for artists for close to 200 years. Weekend painters first arrived by sailboat from San Francisco in the early 1800's to capture scenes of tall ships and nature against the majestic backdrop of the bay. After the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937, Sausalito swelled with the artistic and the eccentric. A large number of retired paddlewheel ferries began to anchor along the Sausalito waterfront, creating the foundation for the now famous Sausalito houseboat community.

The mission of the Arab Film Festival (AFF) is to enhance public understanding of Arab culture and to provide alternative representations of Arabs that contradict the stereotypical images frequently encountered in the American mass media. The San Jose Jewish Film Festival is committed to creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to work together towards two goals: 1. It all began when Rudy Melone, then president of Gavilan College, read an article in mid-1978 about a garlic festival in Arleux, France. This little community of several thousand people claimed to be Garlic Capital of the World because their event drew nearly 80,000 people over a three day period to sample their garlic soup. Dr. Melone believed that Gilroy was the Garlic Capital of the World and decided to prove it.
